Tim Ferriss' 8 Steps for Maximizing Efficacy
Do you ever hear something on the radio, the news, a podcast, or read something in a book, and your immediate reaction is "Oh my god - I need to share that with everyone I KNOW!!"?? Well - I just had one of those! I've been really focusing on maximizing my productivity lately. So when a dude as on-top-of-his-shit and awesome as Tim Ferriss has a podcast called "Productivity" Tricks for the Neurotic, Manic-Depressive and Crazy (Like ME!) (ya - odd title but I went with it!), your curiosity is peaked! So I started listening - and I really love the message of this podcast! That all these people we aspired to and look to for all of life's answer really don't have all of the answers. Tim Ferriss actually says in this podcast that he is NOT a very efficient person. But - he does describe himself as "effective."
In fact to quote Ferriss in the podcast...
Profound isn't it? But how do you know if you're doing what you're supposed to be doing? How do you know if you're using your time doing the activities that will benefit you the most? Well - fortunately Tim was on top of that too! To summarize that information, I made this infographic (right) highlighting what I think is an awesome system for determining what you should be spending your time doing to maximize your results in life. But, you know what - in my opinion - is the ultimate way to maximize efficiency?

A second brain is a digital system—it can be done analog, but digital is better because it’s unlimited and searchable—that wrangles all the chaos, to-dos, tasks, notes, projects, etc. that run your career, goals, and life. It’s basically a repository of anything and everything you want and need to keep track of to make your life run smoothly. And, I bet you can guess what my favorite second-brain platform is, huh? That’s right—Notion!
