Summary

IT'S HALFWAY THRU 2020 - & it's a NEW QUARTER! And I love that...cuz a new quarter is an opportunity to pivot, to learn, to make moves, and to set new goals! And I'm all about that.

So in today's podcast, I'm going to be walking you through my process for doing a quarterly review. It's SO crucial because it keeps you intentional, gives you what you need in your life, and allows you to modify and course-correct moving forward. Plus, it helps you get more shit done than a yearly review process. And isn't THAT what all of us achievers want?

It's a process that made up the foundations for my Take Back Your Life planner, and is something that I'm diligent about doing every 90-days. One planner user said: "I’m on track to hit every single goal! This has never happened before! I’ve been able to create and maintain habits I’ve wanted for years!” So basically, I'm not just blowing smoke up your @$$...

ACTION STEPS:

  • #1 - Do a Life Evaluation. Score yourself from 1-10 in 10 life categories to get a big picture look on where you’re at in your life and what you need.

    • You can get your life evaluation copy here.

    • #2 - Ask yourself what worked, what didn’t, and what can you improve. These are good catch-all questions to check in with yourself. I use these for my weekly, monthly, and quarterly reviews.

    • #3 - Set Your 3 90-day goals. You can set these for 6-months as well, I just prefer 90-day goals. In this process, you use the data you collected in the previous 2 tips and set 2 goals in your lowest scoring areas and 1 goal in one of your highest scoring places.

    • #4 - Break down your goals from quarterly goals into monthly and weekly milestones. It’s all well-and-good to set goals, but procrastination is also human nature. So this process of breaking things down is really designed to make sure you’re staying on topping things by giving you monthly, weekly, and daily actions.

    • BONUS #5 - Check in with yourself throughout the process with weekly and monthly reviews. This really helps keep you from following off track and also to see how you’re feeling about the goals and the process.
