6.2 - Family Relationships

We don't necessarily get to chose all the people in our lives, and that is especially important when it comes to family. Our family members can sometimes be our harshest critics and can sometimes make the harshest judgments on us, which we periodically carry for the rest of our lives. Today we're going to talk about those family relationships, the kind of ways in which family can judge us and make us feel small, and some ways in which to evaluate those interactions so that we recognize not only where some of these judgments might be coming from, but also so we keep ourselves from internalizing them as reflections on our value.
